Pool Questions, Answered

Answers marked General advice are general pool information. Answers marked Our service describe what we offer.

What pool services do you offer?

We offer weekly pool cleaning, special-event pool cleaning, green-to-clean pool recovery, pool filter cleaning, pool maintenance and equipment repairs (pipes, pumps, heaters, lights), pump and equipment upgrades such as single-speed to variable-speed pump swaps, and pool refurbishments and renovations.

How often should a swimming pool be cleaned?

In general, pools stay clearer and are easier to keep balanced with regular attention. Weekly is a common routine, and heavy use, storms and leaves can call for more.

Our weekly cleaning service sends a tech to your pool once a week, vacuuming and scrubbing pool and spa surfaces and checking chemical levels.

What should I do if my pool turns green?

A green pool usually points to algae. It is best to keep people out of the water until it is clear, and a pool professional can tell you what it needs.

Our green-to-clean service takes green and very dirty pools back to clean and sparkling. Contact us for a quote.

When should pool filters be cleaned?

How often a filter needs attention depends on the filter type, how much the pool is used and how much debris gets in.

We recommend getting your filters cleaned every four to six months, and we can clean them at your convenience.

Can you help with pool equipment problems?

Yes. We can fix broken pipes, pumps, heaters, lights and more, and we can swap an old single-speed pump for a more efficient variable-speed pump. Contact us for an evaluation and a quote.

How do I request a quote?

Use the Request a Quote form, or give us a call. Tell us about your pool and what you need.

Which communities do you serve?

We serve the Lake Houston area. Include your ZIP code when you request a quote, and if you are not sure whether your address is in our area, just ask.
